Once Human teams up with Palword in a move guaranteed to please Nintendo
Huehuehue...
If you have any interest in the gaming world, then I am sure you have heard about the latest twist in the Nintendo/Palword saga. Specifically, after the US Patent Office foolishly approved the patent for Nintendo’s “ball catching” mechanic, the Japanese counterparts instead said, “No, this is dumb”.
So, Palword is celebrating with a collaboration with Once Human.
It feels that with all the other games using monster catching mechanics, The Nintendo Company has chosen a weird hill to die on with Palword. I also enjoy the timing of this collaboration. Pocketpair definitely having a high-profile collab with a fairly popular game.
A mysterious island has popped up in Once Human, populated by Meta-Humans, Pals, and Deviations. Pal will also interact with Deviants and Deviations like the Wanderer and the Chefosaurus Rex in unique ways, which will be interesting to see. Side note, Chefosaurus Rex is one of my most favourite names ever.

You will be able to add the likes of Cattiva, Chillet, and Chillet Ignis to your team, and pick yourself up some limited-edition cosmetics and gear. These include territory terminals, outfits, and accessories. If you had to the island, you can also take part in social activities to pass the time.
Even more excitingly, you can use special items to become a Pal yourself, experiencing life as one of Nintendo's most hated creatures. If you prefer your hunting to be done in human form, then you can instead use Chillet and Chillet Ignis as mounts. Those creative types can take part in weekly photo contests under a different theme for special prizes.
Dive into the Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve scenario to craft he tools you need to capture Deviations, and then fuse and battle with them. You can download Once Human from the App Store and Google Play, and experience that warm, fuzzy feeling that you are raising Nintendo's blood pressure as you do.
