Zenless Zeno Zero Version 1.4 offers players a free S-Rank just for showing up

The updates seem to be coming thick and fast from Hoyoverse's latest RPG, as Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 1.4 has been released. A Storm of Falling Stars brings with it two new recruits, multiple game modes, and perhaps most excitingly, an S Rank agent you can get completely for free.

Section 6 is heading into the mysterious Port Elpis alongside Proxies, with the current story reaching its crescendo. New Eridu Public Security is in turmoil and undergoing a leadership election. Our old pal Perlman has reared their head again, giving us a glimpse into the backstory of Wise and Belle.

Two of Section 6’s best and brightest will be available to recruit, starting with Katana-wielding Hoshimi Miyabi. This Frost Anomaly Agent attacks foes with Icefire, stacking anomaly and triggering special effects. Asaba Harumasa will also take to the field, able to switch between bow and blade modes for impressive versatility. You can also get this Electric Agent free during Version 1.4 by reaching Inter-Knot Lv 8.

Version 1.4 will be performing a bit of an overhaul, with future updates to the Main Story replacing the TV mode with story stages. All contracted Agents can be played in the city, and Proxies will be able to join them on strolls with the Quality Time Mode. Decibels will also not be shared across the squad, so you will be able to weave each character's Ultimates together for major damage.

You can take your free S-Rank friend into new combat gameplay modes, such as Hollow Zero’s new Shadows Lost update, and a periodic operation dubbed Deadly Assualt. The Lost Coid can be tackled with some support and equipment such as Banboo Assist skills and Resonia. Or, kick back at the Reverb Arena and enjoy diversion like a Bangboo-themed tower defence game.
