The Luminary Wardance finally lights up the Luofu in Honkai: Star Rail

After quite the build-up, it is finally time to enjoy the Wardance ceremony as Version 2.5 lands on Honkai: Star Rail. Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue - quite the title - takes players back to the Xianzhou Luofu, and deep into a prison break story.

The Shacking Prison is fresh off a revolt, with the Cloud Knights heading in to uphold order. General Feixiao heads the attack to recapture the Borisin criminals, whilst General Jing Yuan and General Huaiyan handle things on the homefront. With long-build secrets spilling out, the saga reaches an explosive finale.

With all the intrigue going on, it sure would be nice to have the opportunity to vent and stab things with abandon. Well, the Luminary Wardance is kicking off, with familiar faces like Luka joining the fun. Take part, and you can pick yourself up the adorable Tuskpir pet.

Doing the first part of this update, you can try your luck to recruit yourself one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals; Feixiao, the Merlin's Claw of Xianzhou Yaoqing. She is a five-star who accumulates Flying Aureus through battle, which fuels her ultimate that reduces enemy Toughness and bypasses their Weakness type, whilst also enhancing her Weakness Break Efficiency. She is very powerful, so it would be a shame if you had to actually fight her, such as in the new Echo of War: Inner Beast’s Battlefield trial.

Perhaps the most interesting part of this update though comes in the form of the second warp. Dubbed the Indelible Coterie, you are able to manually choose between Robin, Black Swan, and Kefka to pull for. More than this, every ten warps guarantees a 4-star or above entity, so if you like the look of Moze, the other new recruit. you could potentially max him easily. Your warp count carries across banners too, so you have a shared guarantee count. Or, save your currency for Lingsha next month, that’s my plan.
