The best simulation games on mobile

Posted by Jessica Famularo on September 18th, 2017

There's nothing like a good sim -- from the seemingly ridiculous to the incredibly mundane, you can be sure there's a simulation game out there for your every whim.

There's a lot to sift through if you're looking for a quality simulation game, but we're here to make things a little easier for you. We've selected five of our favorite simulation games. Why not give one of these quality sims a try?

Farming Simulator 18

Farming Simulator is one of the best simulators out there, and this year's entry in the series certainly holds up to that reputation. Farming Simulator, as you may have guessed, lets you manage every facet of your very own farm, from choosing crops, driving tractors, and all manner of pastoral goodness. It's the perfect game to chill out with after a stressful day.

Motorsport Manager

One of the most all-consuming racing sims on mobile, Motorsport Manager is one you absolutely shouldn't miss if you're a fan of simulation games. You'll be responsible for managing every last detail of your racing team. Scout talented drivers, hire team managers, and manage your cars before hitting the track in high speed races.

Game Dev Story

Kairosoft is definitely the most prolific mobile simulator developer, with dozens of quality sim games under their belt, but our favorite remains Game Dev Story. It's a witty walk through game development as you start with a small team working on low-budget titles. Eventually your progress to bigger and better technology, with the aim of becoming a huge AAA developer in your sights.

Prison Architect

Prison Architect is an intense sim, though its colorful pixel art takes the edge off a bit. You're in charge of constructing a prison and making sure that everything runs smoothly, ensuring everyone's doing their jobs and that riots or escapes don't break out.

Dog Sled Saga

We've been totally enchanted by this adorable sim that sees you managing a team of adorable sled dogs. Take care of and train your team of furry friends, deal with sponsors, and garner press in your rise to fame. The races are quite fun, too, as the difficulty ramps up as you make your way through the ranks.
