Take to the seas in a brand new piratey way in Uncharted Waters Origin

Uncharted Waters Origin has recently released a big update, which includes two massive additions. The Fate of Fire Relationship Chronicle addition lets you play through the story of one of the game's mates, and you can also really embrace pirate life thanks to a new trading mechanic.

Fans of Julie d'Aubigny will be pleased as you can dive into her backstory thanks to the new Relationship Chronicle. You will follow her as she is expelled from the monastery she sought refuge in after receiving a nigh-endless series of duel requests. As she packs, she discovers a letter from her deceased love that sets her off on a new adventure.

It has taken its time, but finally, we can all enjoy some good old proper pirate content, with Smuggling being added to this update. It is a new form of trade content, and it behaves pretty much exactly as how you are thinking. You will be trying to sell or swap smuggled goods within city limits.

Those who take to this new way of life well and hit a certain profit limit with earn the Smuggling Ring’s Credit Deed, which lets you buy various tools from the Smuggling Ring Branch Manager - somehow the best job title I have ever heard. Be warned, however, that you can lose everything should you fail inspections at Harbors or Immigration Offices. Risky business, but can you resist the call of coin?

If you can tear yourself away from smuggling, you can participate in the Autumn Season Event that's kicking around until October 22nd. Long-time fans will no doubt welcome the return of the popular Hernan’s Propose scenario. Clearing this will grant up to 6 Hernan Obregón Mate Vouchers, which can be exchanged for 5 A Grade Common Contracts, or Hernan themself.

Playing through the event will earn you some special currency to spend at the shop for useful items such as Grade 20 Ship or Mate Promotion Materials. For those who want rewards with little effort though, there will be a 14-day attendance event, complete with S Grade Common Contracts and Grad 1-20 Ship Build Materials.
