After the shaky launch of Battlefield 2042, fans and developers are now looking forward to the launch of Battlefield Mobile. It has already undergone alpha testing and will be heading into beta later this month.

Players are expecting a true ‘Battlefield’ experience on mobile with ATVs and war tanks. In the meantime, Shaun Weber, a popular leak has provided the internet with some sneak peeks into the upcoming title.

Battlefield Mobile Maps

Of course, Battlefield Mobile will have multiple maps for skirmishes. In fact, just like COD Mobile, the Battlefield developer might add some well-known maps from the series.

As of now, we know four maps – Grand Bazaar, Operation Metro, Lofoten, and Antelope. Grand Bazaar and Operation Metro have been borrowed from Battlefield 3. Meanwhile, Lofoten was first seen in Battlefield V.

Not much is known about Antelope yet. It is a new map tailor-made for the mobile game.

New Modes in Battlefield

Several new game modes will feature in Battlefield Mobile. As of now, we know three modes – Rush, Conquest, and Frontline.

Rush is your ‘defuse the bomb’ battle. The players will be divided into two teams – Attackers and Defenders. The defenders will have unlimited respawns and their goal is to defuse the bomb. Meanwhile, attackers will have limited respawns and their aim is to set the explosives off.

The Conquest mode will see players fighting over control points. The goal is to conquer and hold the control points while zeroing the opponents’ respawns.

Lastly, the Frontline mode is your regular ‘Capture the Flag’ variant. Currently, these are the modes that we know of. More modes might be added in the future.

Weapons and Gadget in Battlefield Mobile

The Battlefield games are known for their vast collection of weapons. According to the leaks, there will be:

  • ARs – AUG A3, FAMAS, F2000, and SCAR H
  • SMGs – P90, UMP45, PP2000, CZ3A1
  • Sniper – SKS, Scout Elite, and 338 Recon
  • Shotguns – SPAS12
  • LMGs – L SAT, PKP, and U 100

Along with these, there will be melee weapons, grenades, grenade launchers, and other items.

EA has not yet confirmed a date for Battlefield Mobile’s release. However, according to some online speculation, the game might release before April 2022. Android users can pre-register on Google Play.
