Telltale Games' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is finally out on iOS devices, just in time for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 to hit theaters next month. To celebrate, Telltale Games debuted a new launch trailer to celebrate the release.

The new trailer gives viewers a brief summary of the game's story, where the outlaw Guardians of the Galaxy are tasked by the Nova Corps, Marvel's version of the space police, to hunt down the villain Thanos who will be playing a huge role in the upcoming Marvel films.

Ever since Telltale Games release their critical adaptation of The Walking Dead, the studio has been releasing games tied to such hit properties as Game of Thrones, Batman, and Minecraft. Now the studio is tackling one of Marvel's most popular superhero teams in an all-new, five-episode narrative adventure RPG. Play as one of the Guardians and make personal narrative choices that will affect the all new story, independent from either the film franchise of the comic books. As with most other Telltale Games, the story is the biggest draw for their games, with a heavy emphasis on interactive story design, as well as some interesting quick-time events to help liven up the action. The game is currently available on the iOS App Store for $4.99.
