Light a Way, the popular idle game from Appxplore, has recently received an updated called the Glow Harvest which will give players new items to tap away on. The update is available now for both the iOS and Android versions of the game.

It will be a bi-daily event that will see players gathering as many Glowbeans as they can within 48 hours. They're pink in colour and can be found on a specific plant creature known as a Bulby, which is a green plant that looks like, well, a bulb.

As the harvest is taking place, a Bulby can randomly appear and you'll be able to snag yourself some extra Glowbeans by tapping on the plant as it darts about the screen. Once the Harvest has ended, players that took part will be ranked and reward accordingly. There will be a mixture of Light Seeds, Magical Staves as well as materials for crafting accessories and dresses up for grabs.

There has also been a quality of life change that will help this idle game more idle than previously. The update also makes it so that Turtie will now automatically collect charges for the “Autotapper Fairies' ability. So that's fewer taps for us to worry about.

If you're unfamiliar with Light a Way it's an idle game where you must return light back to the world after it was devoured by darkness. You'll gather numerous companions that will assist you on that quest alongside grabbing different weapons of Light and customising your guardian. It's proven to be fairly popular since it launched, amassing an impressive 1 million plus downloads on Google Play alone.

If you're on the lookout for a new idle game, Light a Way is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
