We all know that the audio and visual aspects are just so incredibly vital in making a good game, but sometimes beyond an, “Oh this looks or sounds nice,” it feels these parts are overlooked in favour of pure gameplay. It's because of this that it's so lovely when Hoyoverse highlights these aspects, such as with Genshin Impacts festivals.

Recently we had the HoYoFair 2024 New Year and Spring Fan Art Special Programs, shows that rightly smashed through millions of views. Coming up soon is the Flame Fusion Music and Art Festival, set to premier on September 21st and poses one question; what would Genshin Impact look like across the multiverse?

Showing how much HoYo values its fans, this show will be double the usual length, clocking in over two hours and featuring 25 performances and animated short films. Over 300 fans and content creators came together to make this possible, reinforcing that Genshin Impact is a franchise that has far surpassed being a simple video game.

If you watched the previous special programs you might notice the return of a few favourite series. If Genshin had a Cyberpunk Anime: Progenitor, the series created by Dillongoo that racked up 20 million views, will debut its fourth episode. The Genshin with guns fan animations by No_Tables always revealed it is developing into a series, with a side episode ready to come out of the oven.

After receiving an Annecy International Animation Film Festival nomination earlier this year, David Pagaille and PASSION Paris will return with the second iteration of its Moonlit Bamboo Forest series. For those who want some music, Aether’s Chinese Voice Actor, Luyin, has been invited to sing, and there will be a new K-pop favourite music video from the creators of LURE - OH MY MY.

You can watch Flame Fusion Music and Art Festival when it airs on September 21st at 13:00 CEST onYoutube, TikTok or TwiX.
