Back in November of 2020, I reviewed Space Marshals 3, concluding that it feels a lot like the same old Space Marshals, but in the sense that all of the games in the series are great. Now, with the game's third and final chapter in place, I can't really say that anymore. In its finished state Space Marshals 3 is now the definitive stealth action game on the App Store and the sheer amount and variety of ways it mixes up its gameplay through its add-on content is second to none.

To access the full extent of what Space Marshals 3 has to offer, you have to shell out $12.99. This price is different and can vary for players who have previously unlocked other chapters or only want to buy certain add-ons for the game. Chapter 3 adds another 12 missions to the game and concludes its absurd story. More importantly though, this final set of levels has some of the most ambitious and successful layouts and mechanics in the game, reaching new peaks of stealth action fun.

In the video above are some recorded impressions of the first few missions from this new pack of content. As you can see from the start, there are all kinds of new ideas at play here with psychological trickery, forced stealth sequences, companion (NOT escort) sequences, and even a giant mech.

One of the best things about the Space Marshals series is the amount of gear you can unlock to create the perfect sneaking loadout, run-and-gun arsenal, or some hybrid of the two. Rest assured, Chapter 3 comes with plenty to unlock, though you may need to fully explore environments to find the amount of bazaar coins needed to gain access to some of the coolest items.

For those that have been keeping up with all of our Space Marshals DLC coverage, I am also happy to report that the "hard mode hat" you can unlock from the game's Bounty Pack #1 applies the same difficulty modifiers to these new levels, though Chapter 3 does not seem to reward any tokens, making it more for those who purely want more challenge as opposed to a new set of rewards to chase.

Aside from that, though, there is very little to complain about with this final chapter. It feels like just about everything you could ask for from a culminating act for a great game. Make sure you pick it up if you're at all interested in more Space Marshals action.
