A few months ago, one of our favorite stealth action mobile titles, Space Marshals 3, got a story update that nearly doubled the original game's length. Support for the game isn't showing any signs of slowing down, because just this week another content pack came out that adds a fresh batch of challenges for you to test out Burton's gadgets and your own sneaking skills on.
Called Bounty Mission Pack #1, this addition to Space Marshals 3 adds 12 new levels that are disconnected from the game's main story. Instead, these isolated maps offer one-off challenges in both "action" and "stealth" modes, which reward you for taking a certain number of enemy targets in a specific way.
The "action" objectives are really straightforward, often asking you just kill a bunch of baddies in any way you see fit. But the "stealth" modes require you to use nonlethal force and avoid detection if you want earn the highest marks possible. You want to do well on these missions because each successfully completed one rewards you with Bazaar Coins, which you can spend to unlock a bunch of new gear (or things you didn't get around to unlocking in the main game).
One of these pieces of gear is also a "hard mode" hat that makes levels have fewer item drops, no ammo or health crates, and stronger enemies. Completing levels in this mode gives you hard mode tokens, which you can then spend six of for some fun cosmetic unlocks. It's a nice bonus for those who want to push their skills to the limit, and it's worth noting that wearing this hat also modifies the difficulty of all the previously existing story missions as well.
The first two Bounty Pack missions are available to everyone for free, but you can unlock the remaining 10 for $2.99. For that price, it's more than worth it. These levels are tough, the new gear is fun, and you get a whole new difficulty mode for the entire game.
