A new thread on the popular video game rumor forum, NeoGAF, uncovered an interesting job listing over at Blizzard Entertainment. It appears the studio behindStarCraft, World of WarCraft, Hearthstone, andOverwatch is looking to bring on a new hire with mobile experience.

According to this NeoGAF thread, Blizzard is looking for a Software Engineer with a "passion for making games -- especially mobile games."

Blizzard currently has one of the most popular online trading card games,Hearthstone, available for mobile devices, so searching for a mobile game software engineer might not be too surprising. However, with a bunch of popular IPs likeWarcraft andOverwatchin Blizzard's stable, it's not a stretch to imagine the popular video game studio working on some new, mobile project. The thread is full of users speculating on this rumored project.

While there's probably no way Blizzard will port games likeOverwatchandWorld of Warcraft to mobile, there could still be a chance for a mobile spinoff, either a new game using existing characters or some kind of Blizzard mobile service which could act as an add-on to one of Blizzard's existing PC games, similar to mobile apps run by Bungie for Destiny, or Valve's Steam mobile app.
