The next Infinity Nikki update is littered with rerun outfit banners, on top of a new adventure in Itzaland

Infinity Nikki 2.1 update maintenance will begin on January 6th, 2026, at 02:50 PM and ends on 10:00 PM ET (UTC-5). This is the equivalent to January 6th at 07:50 PM until January 7th at 03:00 AM GMT (UTC+0).

As always, you will receive a 300 Diamond compensation for the server downtime, along with one Resonite Crystal for a free pull on the standard banner. However, there is a lot more to look forward to! 

Infinity Nikki 2.1 comes with a rerun of some fan-favorite outfits

The gacha aspect in Infinity Nikki isn't the best system, but it goes without saying that the developer surely knows how to create beautiful outfits with desirable special skill or effects.

Whether it's to help Stylists glide better, float in the air, or cheese the battle against Esselings, saving for a 5-star outfit sometimes feels like a chore, and can be truly upsetting if you fail to complete a set.

If you don't play Infinity Nikki, then you must know that outfit abilities only work if you're using the full outfit set, so if you're missing, say, socks that you can't even see when using the outfit, your beautiful dress won't be able to do what it's designed to do.

Thankfully, the developer slightly reduced the FOMO by releasing rerun banners every now and then. These reruns don't have a specific schedule and are only announced shortly before the new update, but they can help you complete the outfit you missed or failed to complete in the past.

In terms of version 2.1, Infinity Nikki will be re-running some 4-star outfits. Two of them are banner outfits, namely the Dreamy Glimmer and Whispers of Bliss, while the other one is a store-exclusive outfit, Gleaming Dance.

Continue your adventure in Itzaland while raising your own Behemoth

In Itzaland, you will meet a large animal called a Behemoth. Although in the story these beasts are mostly hostile, in Infinity Nikki 2.1, you'll have the chance to raise one yourself.

After 16 months (in-game, thankfully) of raising the Behemoth, you have to say goodbye to it, and the creature will get an "ending" based on how you raised it. In total, there are 35 growth paths for the beast, allowing you to experience the loop all over again after your first Behemoth graduates from the sanctuary life.
