Fallout Season 2 has been released on Amazon Prime today, and you know what that means. Reams of fans will be flocking back to the Fallout franchise for that sweet, sweet irradiated life. And of course, developers are looking to rinse that for all its worth, which brings us to Fallout Shelter and Viva New Vegas.

There is good news and bad news here, so let's start with the good. To celebrate the setting of New Vegas, we are headed to the Mojave. You will be tasked with bringing Novac under your control, and to do that, you are going to need a few new allies, and I think you know who they will be.

Characters from the Amazon series will be making their way over, including Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul. They will bring with them a host of challenges to complete and quests that will help you revitalize New Vegas. And what would this shining symbol of sin be without some gambling?

By completing quests this Season, you will find yourself stacking up some Poker Chips. You can also get some of these through random loot drops, so keep sending your minions out. Anyway, these can be used at the new Lucky Spins menu, granting rewards such as characters, caps, and useful items.

Now for the bad news: Fallout Shelter has gotten greedy. This update introduces the dreaded Season Pass into proceedings, costing $10. You know the drill; you can get some decent rewards on the free track, but all the good stuff is in the paid one, including some characters.

If you really enjoy Fallout Shelter, then go ahead, just don’t forget this will expire in about a month, and then you will need to spend more money for the next pass. Or just download Fallout Shelter from the App Store and Google Play and enjoy the free content.
