Control Ultimate Edition warps your reality on the go thanks to App Store release

With the release of Inmost the other day on the Google Play Pass, Android took a big step toward taking on Apple. And yet, today, Apple is proving once more that it is the superior gaming platform, sadly. Control Ultimate Edition has launched on the App Store for an incredibly enticing price.

Control first released back in 2019, developed by Remedy Entertainment. They are the minds behind Max Payne and Alan Wake, two excellent series. In fact, one of these characters might just pop up in a Control DLC. Which, since this is the Ultimate Edition, you will receive.
 
The universal acclaim Control received saw it shortlisted for a host of awards, including Best Game at the BAFTAs and The Game Awards. In fact, that year at the BAFTAs, no other game had more nominations, with Death Stranding merely drawing. That is some good company. It lost the big prize to Outer Wilds.

Fantastic gameplay and tunes

The game also featured the music talents of Poets of the Fall, an excellent Finnish band that appears in many of Remedys games. So you are getting a fun game with two DLCs that also have a fantastic soundtrack. And did I mention you get this for $4.99? I usually don’t like sounding like I am advertising, but that is some mind-blowing value right there.

Of course, you can expect the type of mobile optimisation a project like this demands. Changes to the UI, and touch controls are the norm. There have also been tweaks to aiming and some puzzles to help them translate better into a touch interface. If you have a more advanced Apple product, you can also enjoy Ray Tracing and Metal.

The game's price point will be a boon for that mortgage you need to buy one of them models.
