Chillingo today announced a new update for Tiny Troopers, their "adorable little war game." The update includes a zombie mode, as all good war shooters should, apparently. Also, interested gamers can try it out before taking the plunge for the full version with a Lite version.
The new 1.2 Endless Zombie Mode takes Troopers on the hardest mission they’ve ever experienced as they battle hordes of the undead:
- Players face endless waves of brain-munching zombies, including undead chickens!
- Fight your way to the top of the Game Center leaderboards.
- Use all your favorite special forces troopers to take down the undead.
In an email today, developer Kukouri's marketing manager, Chris Carver, provided the reason why. "We've put Tiny Troopers, our game for iOS on sale for .99 to test the waters and see how players react," he wrote. "Most reviews and comments thought our price point of 2.99 was a wee high, so we wanted to see if people put their money where their mouth is so to speak."
What do you think? Will it make you take the plunge? Here's our review.
