If you've ever been to a major city, such as Los Angeles or New York City, then you've probably encountered the city wonder that is the food truck. For those who haven't, a food truck is exactly what it sounds like – food served out of a truck, cart or stand.

The Roaming Hunger app, which recently released on the iTunes App Store, is one that can save you time and energy looking for your next mobile meal. The app features over 800 vendors across North America, helping you locate nearby food trucks.

When you find a food truck nearby you, you can click on it to reveal further information about that vendor, including a picture of the truck, stand or cart, so you know what it looks like and a full menu, including pictures of food and price information. You'll also find some background information on the vendor, as well, such as company history and so on.
