Telltale Games Releases Sam & Max: Beyond Time And Space Episode Four

Telltale Games sure does like to keep busy. Less than 3 months after releasing Episode One of Sam & Max: Beyond Time And Space, we're up to Episode Four: Chariots of the Dogs.

New to iOS, Chariots of the Dogs is one of my favorite Sam & Max tales in recent times. Bosco has vanished from the face of the Earth and it's down to Sam & Max to track him down and figure out the many other puzzles that get in their way. It's truly one of the funniest episodes of the season. Do make sure to play earlier episodes to get all the jokes, though.

As has been the case with previous episodes, there's a mini-game in the form of Whack da Ratz and an entertaining soundboard that lets players create new quotes from the episode.

Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space Ep 4 is out now, priced at $4.99. It's an Universal app so owners of both iPhone and iPad can rejoice.

Telltale Games has just released the latest episode in the seven episode season of Law & Order: Legacies.

Episode Four, entitled Nobody's Child, focuses on an event from New Year's Eve 1999. The battered body of a boy is discovered in an alley and the investigation that follows unearths a case of shocking abuse along with criminal indifference in high places.

As before, the player take the roles of both investigators and district attorneys alongside the likenesses of characters such as Lennie Briscoe, Rey Curtis, Olivia Benson and Jack McCoy.

Multiple endings are offered depending on moral decisions and the seven episodes will eventually piece together to form a season-wide mystery.

Unlike other Telltale Games titles, episodes are available by purchasing the first episode for $2.99 then paying $2.99 for future episodes or $12.99 to unlock the full season. No doubt a bargain for many fans of the iconic TV show.

Episode Four is out now.
