Overhaul Games has releasedIcewind Dale: Enhanced Edition for iOS. The app is a port of the old Dungeons and Dragons classic PC game that explores the frozen tundra of Icewind Dale.
The enhanced edition comes complete with dozens of new spells and items, almost 40 new kits and classes, and a new interface to make playing on a touch screen easier. And now players can also invite their friends along as the game has integrated cooperative, cross-platform play.
As if all that wasn’t enough, a quest that was originally cut from the game is now playable, giving you even more content to check out.
You can download Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition for $9.99 right now.
The update also includes a lot of other upgrades, including the ability to change font sizes, switching between the mage’s spellbook and priest spells is easier, and of course some bug fixes. NPCs have been updated as well. Now if they are blinded they will roam around until they happen upon someone to attack. Also, Drizzt Do’Urden finally has his classic scimitars to closer represent his character in the Forgotten Realms book series.
There are plenty more improvements to explore in the game. You can check out Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition for $9.99 on the App Store.
