I think we need more pinball games in the app store. When they are done right they are such a treat. WildWest has some pinball-tastic game play and at that price you have to get it, seriously – Now!

Magnetic Joe 2 is a paid follow-up to its formerly free predecessor that provides a nice mix of arcade action and momentum-based puzzles. It’s fun, light-hearted fare that will please both fans and newcomers.

Stoneloops! sets a new standard for Zuma-style match-3s. While the gameplay will be very familiar to most, Stoneloops! of Jurassica brings a new level of finesse and polish to the table.

Flick NBA Basketball is designed with the on-the-go gamer in mind. While the games do go by very quick, you will find that some of it is a bit too easy. Fortunately for you (and me for that matter), the game has a variety of play options which makes the overall experience a good one.

Reflexion by Trileet stands out among a huge group of Breakout clones on the App Store. A few have shaken up the formula with 3-D perspectives and circular paddle paths, but this game takes things a step further.

The basic idea behind Cameltry is to guide a ball around a series of mazes, collecting points and avoiding obstacles by either tilting the phone or using your fingers. Created by the minds behind Space Invaders and Cooking Mama. You most likely will be disappointed for expecting something interesting from Cameltry.

10 Balls, 7 Cups presents an arcade skeeball experience with a flippant ticket system (pet dragon, anyone?). It’s a polished, simple game with great graphics, and perfect for wasting time. Just don’t expect anything complicated.

Bounce On is a great 2-D platformer and loads of fun. Instead of a plumber in red overalls, you’re Bounce, a sentient red bouncy ball on a quest to return to your owner’s pocket. It’s cute, polished, fun, and has a perfect difficulty curve that will keep you playing this one for quite a few hours.

Skybound is beautiful game in which you help a bouncing yellow ball to soar into the atmosphere by drawing lines of clouds with your finger. In Normal mode, the goal is to climb as high as possible; in Boss mode, you do battle with a menacing floating eye. The graphics are gorgeous, and the gameplay is fun.

Crayon Physics Deluxe presents you with 50 levels of crayon and paper filled puzzling. You draw lines, boxes, and other shapes in your quest to cause a red circle to travel from its starting point to the ending point, which is always a yellow star. As the levels progress this requires more and more ingenuity, but the game is simple enough for anyone to pick up and enjoy. The included level editor adds a little longevity to the game.

i Love Katamari is a well done port of a game series that premiered on home consoles and was very successful there. The iPhone version doesn’t seem to make very many compromises and looks and controls superbly. It offers numerous levels of challenging and rewarding game play.

One of the most hotly anticipated games for the iPhone, and likely the last big release of the year is finally here. Rolando the rolling ball platform game has finally hit the App Store virtual shelves. It’s about time.
