Move the Wood has players moving a metal ball around holes while solving puzzles to clear the path. The two separate game types don't blend together perfectly, but the levels are well designed and challenging.

Accelerometer based gravity falling games can be fun, but Alice's Fabulous Fall To Wonderland will put you in the loony bin with its wonky gravity system.

A clever little take on the zombie genre, putting you in the shoes of a hungry ghoul feasting on flesh. As you make friends (literally) and ingest people, you'll get a kick out of this game, though it will get repetitive after awhile.

Rocket Racing League is a fast and pretty arcade racer based on the upcoming real-world Rocket Racing League. It keeps its marketing message in check and delivers a competent racing experience.

Urban Ducklings may sound like the subtitle of a really bad Howard the Duck sequel, but it’s actual a pretty nifty new casual arcade game. Thanks to the Iphone’s unique controls, Urban Ducklings gives the classic “cross the road” genre a new twist (pun intended).

TightWire is a challenging, tilt-based game with fantastic graphics that tasks you with guiding a "daredevil" across a tightrope strung between two buildings.

Taxiball is a spin on the Labyrinth genre that has you speeding through narrow city avenues in order to deliver passengers to their destinations. It's not a must-have, but its charm and personality make it a solid buy for fans of marble-rolling games.

Need For Speed: Undercover is a groundbreaking example of how the larger developers should treat the iPhone. This game has been given very special attention to make it entirely unique to the iPhone, using the accelerometer and video playback capabilities to provide an amazing gameplay experience. Kudos to EA.

Galaxy On Fire is a perfectly playable game, but suffers from general blandness. Everything in the game, except the good commerce system, seems like it had been done before, making this game unfortunately seem like a trip into extreme mediocrity.

Freefall'n is a bland falling-based game with difficult controls and a simple premise. Jumping out of a plane still doesn't appeal to me, and it takes too long to be a good casual game.

One of the most hotly anticipated games for the iPhone, and likely the last big release of the year is finally here. Rolando the rolling ball platform game has finally hit the App Store virtual shelves. It's about time.
Freeverse today announced Flick Fishing for the iPhone. A lush 3D fishing game that utilizes the accelerometer in the iPhone and iPod Touch to act as a virtual fishing rod.
While there are already a few fishing games in the app store (iTunes Link), this fishing games utilizes rendered 3D graphics to a greater extent than we’ve seen thus far.
Here’s a video from Freeverse showing a beta build of the game:
The game will hopefully be out the first week of November. We like what we see and look forward to getting our hands on it and throwing out a line to two. Keep an eye on our new apps page, feed or twitter stream for release info.
