Wingsuit Stickman is a physics game where the player controls a stickman flying on a glider. The game is defintely fun to work through and is challenging enough.

The player navigates through a series of levels with a stickman on a glider. The stickman is mostly controlled by tilting the device towards the direction the stickman should go. The only other control is to brake, which is achieved by touching anywhere on the screen. The brake control is more useful than it sounds. Light and quick taps on the screen will slow the stickman enough to make a difference in some levels. In others, full on stops with the brake button are necessary.

The games graphics are simple but fit the stickman theme. The background is graphing paper (like Parachute Panic) and none of the scenary is particularly detailed (though it is Retina display optimized). The music fit well enough with the game but was quite loud. I had to lower the volume on my iPhone to about half of what I normally keep it at to play the game.

My most amusing part of this game, by far, is failing a level. While that sounds odd, I simply find it hilarious when the stickman flys into a wall and his head gets stuck in it. Also, the bonecrunching sounds of crashing are a bit funny considering that the character is a stick figure. If a game can make me happy even when I fail a level, it has something going for it. And speaking of failing levels, I deserve some major praise in the comments on this one for getting enough screenshots of the game for the review without dying. Pressing the home and lock button at the same time while trying to steer the stickman is HARD!

Alright...I wrote that bit about being amused when failing a level within my first ten minutes of playing the game. After playing a bit more, I no longer enjoy dying. This game is quite challenging and I die often. I've found myself quite frustrated trying to finish particular levels. Sometimes, a player will get all the way through the level for the first time to realize that they needed to collect two stars to actually finish (this happened to me quite a bit). So not only is it challenging to complete a level, it's even more challenging to pick up two and three stars at the same time.

Wingsuit Stickman is a fun game that takes full advantage of accelerometer controls. But it can be quite challenging. I would NOT suggest this game to someone with a short temper when it comes to games. I have a friend that I'm quite sure would through an iPhone if I got him to play this one. Play at your own risk.
