Ever play Angry Birds or Peggle and wish it contained more Spongebob? That's precisely what the makers of SpongeBob’s Super Bouncy Fun Time must have been thinking as they've combined the three to produce a very enjoyable game.

As the connotations suggest, SpongeBob’s Super Bouncy Fun Time is a physics puzzler game that's heavy on the action and light on the puzzles. Spongebob Squarepants needs to capture every jellyfish in each level, while rescuing his friends along the way. To do this, he has to shoot his bubble blaster at the jellyfish in order to knock them out and catch them.

The Peggle influence is evident thanks to the slight bagatelle elements to the game. Upon firing the bubble, it bounces around the screen, ricocheting off of blocks that can be destroyed, as well as the jellyfish themselves. There's an element of luck, of course, but it's pitched well so players will never feel cheated.

As the levels progress, other obstacles such as barrels or cannon balls appear. These can be knocked towards the jellyfish to knock them out, bringing about the Angry Birds influence. Controls are easy enough that children of all ages can master them with aim simply a matter of lining up a shot and letting go.

There's plenty to hook players in, whether they're Spongebob fans or not. The only downfall to SpongeBob’s Super Bouncy Fun Time is that it is pretty easy. Clearly aimed at the younger gamer, early stages are easily 3 starred and later levels still just require a few attempts to 100%. The ability to use power ups that are unlocked through coin acquisition (after catching jellyfish) make things all the easier.

To an extent, I didn't really mind the lack of challenge. The general experience is enjoyable and made all the better by the cute one liners that Spongebob exclaims. For kids, they will love this Spongebob infused game. For adults, they'll enjoy the ride to the end. It's so gleefully happy, it's hard not to smile.
