Power Hover places you on a hover board and challenges you to explore a minimal world, picking up batteries in a bid to bring power back to a small village.
It's an endless runner, and requires a certain amount of finesse to perform well at.
Spiked rollers, doors that slam shut, and walls that close in on you all try and stop you from pushing forward, but if your reflexes are quick enough, these shouldn't get you down.
Deftly maneuvering from left to right, grinding on rails, and surviving unscathed is the order of the day. Despite being level-based, it's all very endless runner.
Deft maneuvers
You've got to be careful how long you hold down left or right on the on-screen controls, as it's quite easy to cause a wipeout.Keeping a light touch is tantamount to success.
But it's all part of the fun and makesPower Hover a much more exciting game.
The bottom line
If you need a simple, great-looking adventure that practically begs you to hit the replay button after you die, you can't go wrong with Power Hover.
It looks like Rovio's old employees certainly know what they're doing when it comes to challenging players and keeping them entertained.
