Loopy Laboratory is a puzzle / maze game where you play a lab assistant who is trying to escape the lab through 50 levels of puzzles. Along your quest there are various different puzzles you have to figure out and navigate. Most of these puzzles involve moving your character around a maze that includes obstacles such as one way paths, disintegrating paths, giant spiders, water, and of course lasers.
If I had one bad thing to say about this game it would be that some of the later levels can take an annoyingly long time to complete. Not 20 minutes long, but 6-8 minutes is not unheard of.
The controls are great and very intuitive. You swipe in one of 4 different directions to move one square. You swipe and hold to keep moving in that direction. An innovative control system that works perfectly for this game.
The story is a little silly, but the game is really fun. Loopy Laboratory is a great pseudo 3D puzzle game. While I haven’t finished it yet, I can say that it’s pretty interesting through the 30 some levels I have completed thus far. Great game and great value.
