The action of Cubis Creatures centers around a checkerboard populated with colored blocks. More advanced levels have stacks of blocks of different colors to make things even more difficult. Players move blocks around the front and right side of the board and then tap to send them flying onto the board. Matching three colored blocks together into a triplet makes them disappear from the board, awards points, and fill up the meter of the left side of the screen. To complete the level, players have to fill up the meter within the allotted time.

The interactions between the cubes are what really make Cubis Creatures shine. Need a block to be one square back? Just hit it with another block to move it. There are even wedge cubes which lift up other cubes, allowing for matching blocks in horizontal and vertical directions. There are other special types of cubes, such as stone cubes, which can't be moved or used in matching.

I can't say enough about the graphics of Cubis Creatures. They're first-rate and incredibly cute. The sound effects are also very nice and make for a really fun atmosphere and playful atmosphere.

One of the best features of Cubis Creatures is that there is a daily world-wide tournament. After playing the level, players can see how they match up against other players around the world. The app has a ton of achievements, too.

80 levels are included and 2 additional level packs can be purchased with real money.

Cubis Creature offers a lot for $0.99 app. The gameplay is really fun and innovative, the levels are challenging, the graphics are a pleasure to look at, and the online tournaments are a killer feature. It's well worth the price and any puzzle addict should be sure to download it.
