Business Secrets by Harper Collins is one of these apps. As its title implies, this is an app devoted to the subject of business. It’s a fantastic resource for anyone interested in the subject.

The app is organized well, dividing the subject into 18 key areas. Sections include subjects like “people management,” “selling,” and one of my favorites, “dealing with difficult people.” When users click on one of these sections, the app opens a page with five new tabs. These tabs represent sub-sections within that section. For each key area, users can delve deeper into the subject, exploring sub-sections for “secrets,” “case studies,” “insights,” “quotes” and “1-minute wonders” related to it.

Many of these sub-sections are self-explanatory. Under “secrets” and “insights,” there are chapters upon chapters of information on that specific key area. Meanwhile, “case studies” offer a glance at the subject from the perspective of real-world experimentation. “Quotes” on the other hand enlightens users with wisdom from the experts. Lastly, there’s perhaps my favorite sub-section: “1-minute wonders.” Here, we find quick sound bite-like dashes of knowledge. Very useful for readers who want to benefit from the app with only an at-a-glance approach.

For an app like this, interface design is fundamental. It’s here that Business Secrets also succeeds. The app features an incredibly slick, color-coordinated interface that makes accessing its abundance of information an intuitive process. Indeed, the use of color and section division -- as well as further sub-section partitioning -- create a truly organized, easy-to-use experience.

Business Secrets is a superb resource for both business professionals as well as people simply interested in studying the subject. For only $2.99, users gain access to an impressive collection of information. Many of the insights here will certainly color business in a new light for many.
