There is some depth to BallCraft. A map progression and upgrade system are both in place in order to help you on your task. The spells scroll along the bottom of the screen in a similar way, so they aren’t really emergency items as much as use them if you feel like it items. The map progression system is well put together, complete with motivation to get perfect scores in each level.
Graphically the game is pleasant, and operationally there are no issues. It just seems that overall BallCraft just doesn’t execute well. It has all the makings of a great game, but I found myself labored with playing it rather than enjoying my progression through the varying levels and monsters.
If this seems to be right up your alley, check out BallCraft. It’s a well done game that surely appeals to an audience out there. For me it just wasn't a standout.
