Create-Your-Own Website App, Zpad, Downloaded Over 100,000 Times

Two weeks after its launch, Zapd has hit a milestone, recording well over 100,000 downloads via iTunes.

If you've never heard of Zapd, here's a the crash course: Zapd is a free iOS app that lets you easily and quickly build your own website. It requires not website designing experience whatsoever. Everything is done through the app's intuitive interface. The app's iTunes page claims you can build your site in "60 seconds," in fact. Of course, that is a bit of hyperbole, but the app is certainly quicker than doing everything from scratch.

Thus far, it seems that Zapd's service is quite popular.

The company's CEO updated its blog, saying, "There is a universe of Zaps that are being created in the blink of an eye. We’ve seen Zaps from foodies, sports fans, photographers, artists, and business owners. Zaps have been used as vacation logs, lunch logs, wedding albums, memorial tributes, event calendars, classified listings, and even personal resumes.
