Any game that has you manipulating thrusters is generally a tough game and Wonky Ship is no different. Your sole aim is to tap to the left and right of the screen in order to keep your ship buoyant and not come crashing down into a black hole. It’s tough. Very tough.
Of course, with such simple mechanics, it takes seconds to learn. You won’t have any trouble figuring it out, but it will take you time to get your touches just right. It’s all too easy to overcook one side, flip, and meet your demise very quickly.
Practice doesn’t exactly make perfect but it does give you a fighting chance. The longer you play, the more that such tweaks begin to make sense. You’ll gradually find yourself sucking a little less the more you play, and then you’ll die again and swear a bit.
It’s kind of fun, though. While the main aim is simply to survive rather than unlock anything, it’s that battle that keeps you hooked for longer than you’d expect. Just don’t expect to survive unscathed.
