Virus is a great take on the expand objects to fill the play field type game. It expands on the game type by integrating accelerometer controls.

The goal of the game is to expand objects, in this case, white blood cells, to fill a certain amount of the screen without getting touched by the enemies (virus cells) when expanding those objects. You expand a new object by touching in a blank space on the screen -- the white blood cell will expand as long as you hold your finger down. It will only stop if it hits another object. If it hits a virus cell it will disappear and you will lose a life. You only have so many cells per level to fill the screen, so it's best to make them as large as possible.

This is a fun game. Virus expands on the theme by allowing you to use the accelerometer. You can, if careful, use this to your advantage. With timing you can trap or at least move virus cells out of the way by tilting the screen and moving already created white blood cells into them.

One of the cool interface tweaks on this game is that the controls and on screen text change angle based on the angle that you hold the device. You can see this in the last screen shot below. Nice touch.

Virus is a fun and interesting game. Well worth the $2.
