Upcoming visual novel Arranged shines a light on the traditions of arranged marriage

Posted by 148Apps Staff on July 18th, 2019

If you’re in the market for a new type of visual novel designed to inform and make you think deeply about its subject matter, then Arranged by Kabuk Games could be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s a wholly unique take on marital traditions in Turkey, exploring the differences between consensual and non-consensual relationships using a multipath story.

It all centres around Elif, a regular Turkish girl that’s returned home to her family after graduating from college. It isn’t long before her parents have saved her from the hassle of finding a husband, leaving her in a position where she is unsure what to do. It’s up to you to guide Elif on this tricky path, interacting with friends, family and others to decide what are the best actions to take.
