Fast Company has named Strava as one of "The World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Fitness", and there are many reasons for that. First and foremost, it's worth noting that their social running and cycling app is absolutely great. And Strava's iOS app recently received an update, bringing its version number to 4.0.

In Strava Running and Cycling 4.0, you'll find a brand-new "Activity Feed" that highlights even more of your friends' activities, with notable inclusions being their Instagram feed(?) and their route map. The updated feed also makes it much easier to give comments and kudos to fellow fitness aficionados. Also included in the update is the ability to share photos on your Strava profile via Instagram, real-time segments with live updates, and a variety of new languages including Dutch, Japanese, Korean, and more.

You can get the Strava Running and Cycling - GPS Run and Ride Tracker on the App Store for free.
