For the first time in, well, ever, Stellar Wars is free. Why is it free? Who cares!

Really though, it's gone free to celebrate the release of a big new update. Some of the bigger additions include a bunch of new version 4.0 bots, an all new moon featuring over 100 challenges, a button to double the speed of the game, and lower bot/upgrade prices. A full list of changes can be found below, and you can download the update (or even the entire game) right now for free.

-10 New Version 4.0 Bots with even more powerful specials
-New Desert Moon Zirah with over 100 Challenges and 20 Nova to Earn in the Alien Ruins!
-10 New V4.0 Bot achievements
-Gorgeous new App Icon
-Improved Repairbot AI now hangs around and heals only within it's healing range.
-Double Speed 2X button, speed up the game speed at any time.
-Unlock any bot using holograms.
-Shop can be accessed through the Stellar Map
-Reduced prices of all bots and upgrades
-Lots of bug fixes and improvements and balances.

In our review, Carter Dotson said "Stellar Wars is a strategy game with a ton of intelligently-designed content that’s well worth checking out." And that was before this new update that tweaks and enhances a few key elements. Liv Games' newest changes to their strategy defense game include Cloud support, new effects, difficulty adjustments for planets in the earlier portions of the game, and tweaks to the ore rewards (the new minimum is 300).
