The end game of Genshin Impact largely revolves around spending resin to take on world bosses and clear domain challenges. These fights grant amazing rewards like rare artifacts and ascension materials for weapons and adventurers, but obviously only if you're up for the challenge.

This guide will teach you how to beat the Anemo Hypostasis, a swirling prism of wind energy tucked away in the Stormbearer Mountains. Defeating the Anemo Hypostasis should be a top priority if you're looking to build up adventurers like Jean, Venti, or the impending Xiao. Luckily, this boss isn't all too hard, provided you know what to look for from this encounter.

Genshin Impact - Progression Guide (Adventure Ranks 45-50)

Posted by Campbell Bird on January 25th, 2021

Chances are, if you've made it to Adventure Rank 45 in Genshin Impact, you don't necessarily need a guide on what to do. It's clear you've got a good enough adventurer team, know the general grind, and have mopped up just about every story quest you can get your hands on.

If this doesn't sound like you, maybe you should back up and read our previous progression guides before hopping into this one. For this entry in our Genshin Impact Adventurer's Guide, we'll be outlining some of the finer points of the game that we wish we knew about earlier so as to ease resource management concerns that come up in this endgame state. Read on below to learn more.

Genshin Impact Guide - What to do When You Feel Stuck

Posted by Campbell Bird on December 10th, 2020

To keep its open world challenging, Genshin Impact increases the strength of its enemies as you advance your Adventure Rank. The only somewhat troublesome thing about this system though is that it isn't dependent on the power of your adventurers. Your Adventure Rank advances for pretty much doing anything, even if those things don't directly make your team stronger. As a result, you can find yourself in a situation where your World Level bumps up suddenly to create a pretty tough difficulty spike to overcome.

In this situation, Genshin Impact can become frustrating, but there are ways out of it. It also should be a relatively quick fix, provided you've been careful about your currencies and have some to spare. Read on to learn more about what to do if you hit a World Level that suddenly feels overwhelming.

This guide will teach you how to beat the Geo Hypostasis, a geometric cube that hangs out on a remote island in the Guyun Stone Forest to the east of Liyue Harbor. Defeating the Geo Hypostasis should be a top priority if you rely on Geo adventurers like Ningguang or Zhongli to fill out your squad. Luckily, it's totally possible to beat this boss with little to no problem, even if you're underleveled. Read on below to find out how.

Posted by Harry Slater on April 9th, 2018

We've taken a long hard look at some of the details around Shadowgun Legends, but now it's time to get into the nitty gritty. Specifically, we're going to look at how you can win matches of Ascension, the game's 4v4 PvP multiplayer mode.

Obviously this isn't an exact science, and if your teammates haven't read this piece there's still a good chance that you're going to get mullered. But, we've put a good few hours into the game mode, and we know our stuff. Remember, if you've got any ideas to add them in the comments at the bottom of the section.

Playdek and Stone Blade Entertainment have released Rise of Vigil - an in-app expansion for the iOS card game Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer. The expansion adds a new energy shard mechanic, which gives players the ability to upgrade heroes, monsters, and constructs. This changes the dynamic of certain cards; making weaker ones potentially much more powerful.

Rise of Vigil also includes 46 new center deck cards; including 11 new Monster cards, 24 new Hero cards, 11 new Construct cards, and new starting deck art as well as new background theme art and music.

Joel Goodman, CEO of Playdek says,  “We’re excited to release this new expansion to the popular Ascension series and we thank fans for waiting. The new energy shard cards energize the gameplay by making players rethink old strategies.”

You can download Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer for free, and purchase the Rise of Vigil in-game update for $3.99.

Three years to the day, after it initially launched on the App Store, it was announced that the Editor's Choice award winning Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer will be getting a brand new in-app expansion pack. As part of an extended partnership between Ascension creators Stone Blade Entertainment and publisher Playdek, the expansion Rise of Vigil is set to debut on iOS this summer.

As part of this agreement Playdek is committed to maintaining the current online infrastructure (no fretting over the possible loss of multiplayer anymore, yay!), including cross-platform multiplayer functionality. But wait, isn't Ascension currently iOS-exclusive, you say? Well our friends over at AndroidRundown have plenty to be excited about too, because shortly after the new expansion lands on the App Store, the title will be launching on both PC and Android for the first time.

For now though, you can brush up on your deck building skills by downloading Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer for free on the App Store.
