Social Networking With Less Typing Thanks To Switchee

Keeping track of oh so many social networking apps is almost a job in itself. While you can do it manually or you can link up various services together (for example, making your Twitter and Facebook update at the same time), there's now an even easier way: Switchee.

Switchee involves a simple matter of flicking a switch. It takes out the typing part of updating your status. You simply flip a switch and it updates your status across Facebook, Twitter and other social networks while also checking in to Foursquare if you so wish. Plus integrated in the app is another form of social networking so you can keep track of your friends who use the app too. You can then interact directly with those friends which can be useful.

It's a simple little Social Networking tool but one that has its advantages. Particularly for those who want to update their general status quickly, this could be useful. It doesn't take long at all to set up your standard switches such as 'At work' or 'Gaming' in my case. There's also push notification support so you need never miss an update from a friend.
