Summoners War is releasing a new hell-themed Dimension Hole, Inferath.

Dimension Hole was released in Summoners War patch 5.0.0. This was in June 2019, almost seven years ago. The Dimension Hole not only brings advanced Rune for players who can farm it effectively, but it also gives a chance for low-star monsters to be on the same level (stat-wise, at least) with Nat 4 and Nat 5 monsters.

This process is called the second awakening, or 2A for short. It gives a monster a flashy new look (as beautiful as paid transmog, to be honest), enhanced skill, and better stats. The monsters added to the Dimension Hole 2A are strictly Nat 2 or Nat 3 monsters.

The Dimension Hole stages have restrictions on which monsters you can bring to fight. In the case of Inferath, you're allowed to bring anything except Nat 4 monsters.

Hellhound and Inferno are next on the 2A list

If you've played Summoners War, then you'll know the Hellhound all too well. This doggo is part of the Faimon Volcano, and you probably have beaten up thousands of them during EXP farming.

Not much has been revealed about what all the 2A will do, but so far, we know what Fire Hellhound and Dark Inferno 2A will look like.

Fire Hellhound's first skill will decrease the attacked enemy's Attack Speed. Meanwhile, the second skill will disturb HP recovery.

Dark Inferno's first skill has a chance to provoke the enemy. Its passive now damage all enemies upon death, instead of hurting only the killer.

If you're planning to 2A your Hellhound or Inferno, then know that Stage 5 of Hellhound Dimension Hole is a Wind stage, whereas Stage 5 of Inferno has the Fire attribute. Considering the Nat 4 restrictions, you can prepare the correct elements prior to the Dimension's release.
