Snowbreak: Containment Zone introduces its strongest support yet in latest update

This past weekend was the Destiny: Rising beta test over in the US and Canada, and I think everyone can join me in being jealous of those lucky people who got to try it. Happily, though, another shooter is stepping in to ease the pain, with Snowbreak: Containment Zone dropping its Fragments of Truth update.

Let’s dive straight into the new character, as Amazing Seasun describes her as the strongest support yet. Vidya - Celestial Swan is a Chaos sniper wielder who can reduce enemy resistance and defence for bigger damage. You can pick up her Starlit Truth weapon, which enhances her energy regen.

Alongside this, you can also obtain her Flight of Fantasy outfit, which is modelled after a flight attendant look, for no good reason I can think of whatsoever. Anyway, the character and weapon are available through gacha until July 10th, with the outfit available in the shop. You can also buy Pool Patrol for Fritia - Turbo Swimsuit, and Full Bloom for Chenxing - Jade Arc during the same timeframe

For those who pull Vidya - Celestial Swan, you will have plenty of opportunities to use her, as there are a lot of upcoming events to enjoy. Spectral Fantasies is on until July 7th, bringing some new features to gameplay. You can auto-clear rounds with the new Ancient Key and use Mobei Stardusts in Arcane Anvil to reroll during refinements. The Nightmare Passage in Challenge Stages has been updated to be a speed, damage, or knockout fight, and after completing an adventure round, new artefacts unlock and become available in the next one.

From June 5th to the 23rd, you can enjoy a co-op Zuma-like mode in Chain Assault, putting players through five waves of training. These alternate between Chain Assault Drills, where you shoot Roly-Polies for points, and Ambush Assault Drills, which are standard shoot-everyone fights. Then, between June 19th and July 10th, you can re-run the Gradient of Souls story chapter, featuring Enya and Cherno. 

Finally, the Seven-Day Carnival will be held from June 23rd to July 7th with a host of mini-games to enjoy. Warp Jump sees you racing whilst teleporting, Dash Push will have you shoving enemies out of a ring, and Box Cascade tasks you to ride the world of the box menace once and for all.
