SmackTalk!

This voice-altering app allows you to record your voice then replay it – with hilarious distortion – through an animated guinea pig, puppy, kitten and Chihuahua. You can customize your recording to be high-pitched, squeaky, freaky, short and fast or with a looooong drawl. There are also amusing sound options like farts, raspberries and burps. One night my husband, son and I sat down with SmackTalk! and we giggled and chortled, shrieked and howled, until we laughed some more. My son couldn’t get enough of hearing his own sounds through the mouth of a guinea pig! The only limitations I see are that the program seems prone to bugs (a couple sound features don’t work with this program) and it has specific compatibility requirements (it works with iPhone & iPod Touch 2nd Generation and requires iPhone OS 2.2.1 or later.)
