Send Your friends on a Treasure Hunt with Shotnote

There's a new way to leave notes for your friends and loved ones called  Shotnote. You can use it to take a photo or video and tag it to a specific location. The app will then let your friends know they have a Shotnote to discover, and once they're close enough to the location they'll get your message. It is a fun way to take friends on a tour, hide love letters, or give reviews of your favorite hangouts. The recipent of your Shotnote doesn't even need to have the app to play along.

Shotnote looks like an interesting, original way to message your friends and it's available for free on the App Store.
