Tayasui Sketches is a drawing app developed for the iPad. At first it looks similar to Paper, but its simplicity, well-designed interface, and wide range of drawing tools help to set it apart.
Once opened, users will notice the clean and sharp design. A blank canvas is presented on the screen, and an array of drawing tools sits to the side. There are nine tools for users to create masterpieces along with an eraser and a color selector. What's great is that there aren’t any menus that get in the way or any clutter whatsoever. The drawing tools can be hidden from the screen at any time.
When zoomed all the way out, artists can browse all their sketches or swipe up to share their creations by dragging and dropping stamps to send the sketch to various destinations like Facebook, Twitter, or Email. Additionally, users can view their sketches as thumbnails and swipe down to send canvases to the trash.
I'm amazed by how responsive the brushes are, and how simple the app is to use. It's feature rich and makes drawing on the iPad a lot of fun. The only downside is that there aren’t any folders, notebooks, or ways to organize the sketches so things can get a little chaotic if the app is used often. Otherwise, downloading this app is a no-brainer. Tayasui Sketches is free, elegant, designed by artists, and perfect for a wide range of creative uses. Get it today and check it out.
