It’s finally here. The long awaited sequel to the original side scrolling physics-based driving game just landed in the App Store. Stick Stunt Biker 2 is packed with over 50 stunt courses to race through, and gamers will appreciate the updated graphics and new obstacles as they work hard to unlock all the worlds and bikes.

For those who aren’t familiar with either title, the goal is to reach the end as fast as possible. This isn’t exactly easy though because there are many twists, turns, jumps and obstacles. To put it simply: be prepared to die a lot.

The biker is controlled by pressing on the right side of the screen to accelerate and on the left to brake. Tilting the iOS device enables players to do front and back flips as well as level out their bike for a smooth landing. Controls can be changed between tilt and buttons in the options menu.

Gamers must try to earn three stars on each level. Worlds are unlocked based on these stars, but it’s possible to play all the levels in a world without having to unlock one at a time. This is great because gamers aren’t forced to continue playing the same frustrating level.

Stars also allow for players to unlock bikes like a chopper or police motorcycle. Those who are impatient can shell out $19.99 to unlock everything in the game, but in-app purchases are definitely optional and not mandatory.

There’s more to the game than just trying to earn three stars on each level. Players can also race against friends through Game Center or race against their own ghost.

The sequel is a big improvement over the original. The graphics look fantastic and are packed with more details, there are plenty of new obstacles and gamers will love the whole new experience as they try to perform cool tricks. The only downside is that it can get frustrating at times because some levels are a little difficult. This ultimately leads to a little repetitiveness for those who get stuck on a world. However, this also isn’t necessarily a bad thing because it means players will get plenty of replay value for their dollar.

Overall, Stick Stunt Biker 2 is a keeper and it’s perfect for players of all types. With plenty of amazing new features, there’s little to not love about this title.
