Players use the touchscreen to guide their character through the fray. If one of the opponents manages to bump into the player's character the player loses control of the soccer ball and it will go bouncing across the field. If the player isn't able to regain control of the ball or if one of the opponents gains control the match is over. To keep control of the ball there are several power-ups to increase speed or knock down opponents. During each match, the player must also collect as many coins as possible that are spread out over the field. With these coins players can buy tickets to more matches. Each match costs a certain number of coins and the player must spend the required amount of coins to buy a ticket and begin the match.
The Soccer Stealers gameplay is very simplistic and each match is exactly the same as the last. Run around a field, pick up coins, avoid opponents, repeat. The game has a fun look and feel, but other than the character customization there just isn't much to keep the player engaged. This game is fun for a few minutes but quickly loses it's momentum.
