Questionnaire Review

Collecting and analysing information and data is something that's immensely useful to a wide range of professions. Whether it's a cafe owner that wants to check their range of sandwiches is a hit with its patrons, or a sociology student wanting to confirm a hypothesis, statistics are vital. Cold hard facts are just so darn useful for figuring things out from marketing strategies to customer feedback. So an app like Questionnaire looks to be an excellent yet simple way of collating all this information.

It takes mere minutes to set up a simple questionnaire through the app. Users can choose to collect information such as full name, address, phone number and e-mail address, or they can cut it back to a bare minimum if they want a more anonymous surveying experience. A library of questions can then be added with the options of multiple choice responses or the participant's own take on a situation, offering up more information than the restrictive nature of ticking a box.

Upon collating all the data, users can then check a series of pie charts to analyse the responses given. Further options come in the form of being able to export completed questionnaires as comma separated version (csv) files or xml, as well as the ability to export as PDF reports too.

Multiple questionnaires, or events as the app likes to call them, can be set up too so that it's easy to switch to a different survey as and when required. Plus there's the convenient ability to customize the appearance of each questionnaire with different logos or colors which is particularly useful for corporate studies. There isn't any way of editing the template completely however which is a shame, nor is there an option to describe to users how to answer questions which would have been helpful for novice users.

Despite these brief shortcomings however, Questionnaire is a pretty comprehensive survey gathering tool. It's an Universal app too which further enhances its potential for being useful. For the price, it's well worth a look for those in the appropriate field of work.
