The game progresses in 10 levels. Each level consists of cleaning and repairing the teeth of a different monster. To do this, players make use of various dentists tools which they can select and then use on a tooth by touching that tooth with their finger. Care is needed though, because if you use the wrong tool on a tooth at the wrong time the monster will get hurt. The monster can only get hurt three times and on the third time the player fails that level. The different dental tasks that are required in each level must be completed in order and with the right tools or the level will be failed. For instance, a tooth must be brushed clean before a cavity can be repaired. Once all the teeth in the monster's mouth have been cared for, the level is complete. Based on the amount of time it took to complete the level the player will receive a rating out of five stars.
The monsters and their disgusting mouths are beautifully animated, which adds so much to the enjoy of the game. The monsters react to the procedures the players are performing and emote accordingly. Sometimes the teeth are so well animated that it's a little difficult not too feel a little squeamish, but the action is cartoony enough that the feeling doesn't last long.Monster Mouth DDS is a great game and players will have a wonderful time caring for these monsters. Hopefully the developer is working on more content because 10 levels won't take very long to complete, even if there is an option to go back and improve a score.
