Need to organize your life? I know the feeling. Fortunately, Horizon 3 is a stylish way to do precisely that. It’s not perfect as it has a few bugs, but it’s still a pretty convenient way of organizing your calendar.
Immediately offering up a page full of your week’s events, Horizon 3 is quick to get going. At a glance, you can easily see what’s ahead of you. Besides offering timings on that screen, you can also see location details and even what weather you should expect during that time. Simply tap on an item and you can quickly edit its details, with a swipe to the left enabling you to add a new appointment.
Adding appointments is pretty easy, although Horizon 3 does get slightly confused. When you’re typing something in and you go to auto complete the word, Horizon 3 overcompensates, adding superfluous letters to the phrase. It’s not a deal breaker but it is a slight irritant.
What works much more so in Horizon 3’s favor is how it tracks how busy your days are. Tap on the relevant month to see a monthly overview and a color coded section gets darker the busier that day get. It’s a convenient way to quickly see which days are getting a little too busy for comfort. Horizon 3 will happily let you know what slots are free too, via simply entering things such as ‘next free lunch’ into the search bar. It works reasonably well too.
The niggling text issues are suitably niggling, but otherwise Horizon 3 is a fairly intuitive and helpful calendar app. A lot of its features are available in the free build too, although $4.99 will add handy features such as bad weather notifications and even driving information. It’s a convenient solution for those trying to get their lives back into order.
