Ever wonder if a film would be better with different actors in it? How about with no actors in it at all? While FilmWise Invisibles doesn't actually answer these questions, it does ask the question of whether or not players would recognize popular movies if all of the actors were removed.
FilmWise Invisibles is a movie trivia game in which players are asked to identify the names of films based on still images pulled from various movies that have had all of the actors removed. The game is quick and easy to play. An image from a movie is shown, but all traces of the actors have been removed invisible man style. All that remains is the actors clothings, props, and sets. By referencing these clues with their movie knowledge, players must guess the title of the movie.
Testing players' film memory is only half the fun of this app, though. The images themselves are as enjoyable as the trivia. Each image has been painstakingly touched up to remove every single actor; even the extras. The resulting image, lacking of any human presence, is a strangely beautiful thing to behold. Realizing this, the developer has included a function in the app where players can view the images of any movies they have guessed correctly while playing the game. Players can then mark their favorite images for quick viewing, and even save them to their photo library or share them via email.
There are a enough images initially included in the app that players will spend plenty of time figuring them out. Additional image packs are also available via in-app purchase to keep the trivia going.
This is a great film trivia game that is simple to play and has more to enjoy than just correctly answering questions. The game's images are so well done, the effect is positively spooky. Film buffs will appreciate FilmWise Invisibles and they will really enjoy the images.
