I’ve never really been able to sink my teeth into the RPG genre. Maybe I just have a lack of commitment, but I just can’t seem to stay interested in Role-Playing Games (RPGs0 long enough to see them through. A game like Eternity Warriors 2 is perfect for anyone like me. It has a lot of the elements of other RPGs, but divides the game play into separate, quick levels that can be played over short periods of time. The fast, hack-‘em-slash-‘em gameplay is fun to pick up at any time for a quick adventure.

The object of the game is to take the character through different floors, slaying any and all demonic creatures that happen to pop up out of the ground. Along the way, treasures, gems and other weapons can be picked up that will help the character level up and improve skills. Random pots and barrels can be chopped open to reveal these items so be sure to break open as many items as possible. Additional potions, inventory and skills can be added on to better equip the character for battle at the beginning of every floor.

The first thing I really liked about this game was its graphics. The 3D world that the developers created looks great on a retina display device. I am amazed that so much detail went into a free game that is actually playable for a relatively decent amount of time without needing to buy more gems with real money. The controls are intuitive and are easy to manage. The overall gameplay is a nice upgrade from the original Eternity Warriors title.

My one qualm with this game is the same I have with other games in its category. In-app purchases. While I understand the purpose of them (devs need to eat somehow, right?), I just find it hard to lay down real money for any sort of additional gems, treasures or any other fake game currency to be able to advance. However, as I said before, I do think that this game is rather generous and provides opportunity for gamers to play and advance without needing to pay real money.

In conclusion, I continue to be impresses with the overall detail and gameplay in this free game. Eternity Warriors 2 is definitely worth the download to give it a try for those needing a quick fix of demon slashing.
