With no shortage of music streaming services out there, no one can blame you for wondering why you should be looking at Echo. The reason is fairly simple - because it offers personal curation by other users, and it’s a pretty handy way to discover new music. Oh, and it’s entirely free.

It’s easy to get started too. You log in via email or Facebook, and within seconds you can add playlists. You pick out music from YouTube or SoundCloud, add a custom cover and description, and away you go.

Such simplicity is why Echo is reasonably successful. It really won’t take you long to make something to share with others. You can choose to add curators too, enabling a number of you to work together on a project. You can also follow people with similar music taste, saving you from too many extensive searches.

As a fine way to find new and old music, Echo does the job pretty well. It’s efficient and effective. What more could you need?
