Quick and easy is what will immediately come to mind upon checking out Colorburn. It’s a photography app with a focus on allowing you to apply filters quickly and effectively. While some of the results are a bit garish, other times they prove to be a fun tweak for an ordinary looking photo.

The app has you import a photo then choose from an array of filters. They’re all color focused, as the name would suggest, with 1000 different choices to make. Your milage will vary, depending on what you’re adjusting, but there should be something that appeals here. You can extend such potential through grid filters, allowing you to apply multiple filters to one picture and see just what typically psychedelic thing you can conjure up.

There’s the usual simpler tweaks too, such as exposure, brightness, and contrast, butColorburn’s strengths really lay in its variety of colors. I’ve found such color filtering doesn’t entirely work for landscapes, but for sprucing up the look of an ordinary object, it goes further than you’d expect.
